Located in the heart of Reims, the Ruinart House watches over a treasure. Unique, historical landmarks and architectural prowesses, the Ruinart chalk quarries have been classified as a historic site since 1931 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2015. Located at nearly 40 metres below ground, in the dark and cool cathedral-like cellars, the precious bottles wait to be brought to light. The vinification
Stemming from fine Champagne terroirs, the grapes used for the production of Ruinart Brut Champagne R are harvested by hand. Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats is followed by malolactic fermentation.
The dosage for this R de Ruinart Brut is 8g/l.
The blend
R de Ruinart Brut is a Champagne wine comprising a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. 25 to 30% of reserve wines from the two years preceding the base are included in this Ruinart Brut.
