Château Belgrave 2005

The wines fully reflects the quality of the Belgrave terroir, showing deep colour. The powerful fresh fruit aromas (blackcurrants and blackberries), owe its intensity much to the exceptional weather conditions and the cool nights and early mornings of the late season. Full-bodied, dense, smooth, balanced and structured with very fine tannins resulting from grapes harvested at perfect maturity. Overall, it is very harmonious with already well integrated oak. The blending of these magnificent different batches give a very great dense and elegant wine, which will keep for a long time. The 2005 vintage is certainly one of the best to date from Belgrave.
