Description
2011 Saint-Estephe, 5e Cru Classe, Bordeaux.
Chateau Cos Labory was named after the hill it stands on, the Cos hill, and the name of its proprietor in the 19th century, François Labory. From a vineyard of 18 hectares, this 2011 is 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot.
The 2011 Saint-Estephe reveals a beautiful purple colour. On the nose, the 2011 Chateau Cos Labory gives off a bouquet composed of red berry and slightly toasted notes. On the palate, it offers a good attack. The wine then develops a round, unctuous palate with well-blended and thick tannins. This 2011 carries a great length.
