Château de Chamirey : Mercurey 1er cru "Les Ruelles" Monopole 2014

2014 Mercurey Premier Cru, pure Pinot Noir, Burgundy.

The Chateau de Chamirey vineyard has been the property of the family Devillard since 1934 and stretches over 37 hectares, among which 15 are located on the best plots of Mercurey Premier Cru.  The 2014 Mercurey Premier Cru Les Ruelles Monopole of Chateau Chamirey is pure Pinot Noir. 
The wine was aged in oak barrels for 15 months and displays a beautiful black cherry-tinted ruby red colour. The nose is intense and develops black berry, blackcurrant and woodland aromas. On the palate, the 2014 Mercurey Premier Cru Les Ruelles Monopole offers fine tannins followed by a good aromatic persistence. This Burgungy wine can be drank between 2020 and 2022.
