2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (Chardonnay)
Chateau Maltroye's 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chevenottes is 100% Chardonnay produced from 55-year old vines growing on 0.64 acres parcel. The vintage aged 12 months in oak. This 2011 Burgundy reveals scents of brioche, butter, and vanilla. The nose is very fresh and marked by citrus or more flowery notes. The palate offers lemon taste. The finish is mineral, persistent, and very refreshing.
