Description
2013 fresh and powerful white Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux
The Chateau Haut-Brion blanc is the most sought after dry white wine of the Bordeaux wine region and comes from a vineyard of less than 3 hectares. This 2013 is a blend of 66% Sauvignon and 34% Semillon.
The wine reveals a rather strong, expressive and rich nose. The latter gives off a large aromatic palette which offers pineapple, white fruit and finely blended wood notes. The Sauvignon Blanc is stronger than usual in this vintage. The 2013 Chateau Haut-Brion blanc won the bet of being thick and strong while preserving a superb refreshing acidity. The finish impresses by its persistence and power.
