2012 Chateuneuf-du-Pape Rhone Valley
Chateau La Nerthe 2012 Clos de Beauvenir is a fruity blend of 58% Roussanne, 32% Clairette, 8% Grenache Blanc, and 2% Bourboulenc.
This Châteauneuf-du-Pape displays a green-tinted, golden colour. To the nose, the 2012 Clos de Beauvenir reveals intense, spicy notes of rice powder, vanilla, and very ripe pear. The palate offers lovely freshness and a lot of roundness, with fruits and vanilla notes. The long, rich finish is complemented by intense flavours from the maturation mixing fruits and roasted fragrances.
