Description
The famous chateau Pontet-Canet is part of the Pauillac appellation. It is located on a terroir composed of a rounded hilltop of gravels from the Garonne, on a calcareous base. This 2006 vintage displays a deep, dark red colour. Its nose expresses intense fragrances of fruit and a mineral note. On the palate, the attack is bold and the tannins are present and silky. This 2006 Pontet-Canet, a 5th classified growth, offers a lingering and delicious finish.
