Château Rabaud-Promis 2009

2009 Sauternes, 1er Cru Classe, Bordeaux.

The Château Rabaud-Promis vineyard, that overlooks the Ciron and the Garonne valley, stretches over 33 hectares on the Sauternes appellation. This 2009 is a blend of Sauvignon and Semillon, main grape-varieties of the terroir. 

This wine is full-bodied and strong; it gives off a warm sensation thanks to honeyed yellow fruit, apricot jam, quince jelly and exotic fruits aromas enhanced by a lemon balm hint. The 2009 Chateau Rabaud-Promis associates all the great Sauternes qualities: aromatic richness, density, vibrancy and presence.
