Description
2010 Lalande-de-Pomerol from Bordeaux.
Chateau Siaurac vineyard has belonged to the same family since 1832 and comes from the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. The 2010 vintage is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
Round and solid with a well-built style, the 2010 Chateau Siaurac is a robust and concentrated wine. The latter reveals earthy black fruit notes. This excellent vintage displays a good ripeness followed by good aromas and a beautiful balance. This wine carries some aromatic intensity and vibrant tannins. The finish is outlined and foreshadows an excellent ageing potential.
