Domaine Marc Sorrel : Les Rocoules 2011

The 2011 Marc Sorrel Hermitage Les Rocoules displays a deep golden yellow colour, due to the ageing in oak barrels for one year. On the nose, this white wine deliciously expresses honey and gingerbread aromas, even though it is still restrained it does not express its full aromatic potential. On the palate, the attack is straight even though the acidity is not biting. The 2011 Marc Sorrel Les Rocoules is a wine that has to be appreciated on the fruit, as other white Hermitages of this vintage.
