Domaine Marcel Deiss : Gewurztraminer Vendanges tardives 2012

The Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives of the Domaine Marcel Deiss is a mellow white wine. Its grapes, affected by Noble Rot (botrytis), were harvested in mid-October, to a stage of superripeness which allows to obtain high sugar levels. This Gewurztraminer 2012 has a straw-coloured robe with a golden reflection, and on the nose, it is exuberant thanks to candied orange, litchi, mild spices and honey. On the palate, it is unctuous and fruity. The sucrosity is well-balanced with a revivifying acidity on finish.
