Nestling in a vine setting and benefiting from a gentle micro-climate, The Domaine de Chevalier is a Cru Classé of a renowned and distinguished name. Since 1983, ruling over this outstanding terroir, Olivier Bernard keeps on revealing with passion the quintessence of this vineyard, always displaying typical aromas of Pessac-Léognan. Falling within a technologic dynamic at the service of great winemaking traditions, this hedonist winemaker promptly built an ambitious program in order to produce red and white wines matching finesse, great breed and elegance from his 35 hectares (including 5 hectares of white grape varieties). As the quality of a wine can not be left to chance and thanks to exclusively work by hand, everything is here undertaken to produce exceptional and unmistakable wines from perfect grapes. Although enjoyable fairly young when more on the fruit, these wines will express a great subtlety and distinction after a long maturing.
