Domaine Faiveley 2012 Blagny Premier Cru La Pièce sous le Bois is matured in oak barrels for 14 months in unique 19^th-century vaulted cellars which provide ideal conditions for ageing wines. The vintage shiny red colour with subtle hints of garnet suggests an elegant yet delicate wine. Notes of wild fruits such as wild strawberries and blueberries, as well as empyreumatic touches dominate the initial complex aromas on the nose. The palate is fruity, with delicate hints of smoke providing a full and round body.
