L'Héritage de Chasse-Spleen 2014

2014 Haut-Medoc, Troisieme vin du Chateau Chasse-Spleen, Bordeaux.

The Heritage de Chasse-Spleen cuvee of Chateau Chasse-Spleen is a Haut-Medoc produced on a vineyard of about 20 hectares. The 2014 vintage is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. 
The 2014 Heritage de Chasse Spleen displays a beautiful ruby-tinted limpid red colour. The nose gives off vanilla-flavoured woody hints marked by the youth of the ageing. It also gives off red berry notes such as redcurrant and cherry. The 2014 Heritage de Chasse Spleen offers a nervous and precise attack. The tannic structure gives a full-body followed by a simplicity that still assures the beautiful expression of the used grape-varieties. The finish is persistent and still a bit nervous.
