Description
Condrieu Brèze 2013 de Louis Chèze : un vin blanc à l'attaque franche et droite
The Cuvée Condrieu Brèze by Louis Chèze is a single-varietal Viognier white wine made from a 2-hectare vineyard on the Condrieu appellation. Aged 30 years on average, vines are planted on soils made of old granite and alluvium from the Ice Age. The aeging of the wine is carried out in oak barrels (new and old from 2 to 3 previous wines) for 8 to 10 months on average.
The Condrieu Brèze 2013 by Louis Chèze displays a fine gold colour, crystalline and clear. The nose develops complex aromas of apricots and honey. On the palate, the attack is frank and straight, revealing a beautiful aromatic wealth, as well as wonderful balance. The finish of this 2013 Condrieu Brèze is extremely long, offering tasty touches of honey and a nice minerality.
