Condrieu Pagus Luminis 2015 of Louis Chèze: a white wine with a mineral finish
The Condrieu Pagus Luminis by Louis Chèze is a single-varietal Viognier white wine made from a 3-hectare plot, the vines planted on granite and leucocrats migmatites. The Cuvée Pagus Luminis is aged in oak barrels of 2 or 3 previous wines for 8 to 10 months on average.
At tasting, the Condrieu Pagus Luminis 2015 by Louis Chèze displays a bright yellow gold colour. The nose exudes aromas of white flowers mixed with notes of grapevine. Straightforward, the palate reveals a wine of great flexibility, with a superb mineral finish.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
A wine made in reasonable quantities is the 2015 Condrieu Pagus Luminis, which was brought up all in barrel. Fresh and lively, with classic white peach, hints of apricot, honey and flowers in its medium-bodied, supple, tropical and juicy personality, it should be drunk over the coming year or three.
