Chateau l'Enclos as we know it today was created in the late 19th century and remained in the same family until 2007 when it was acquired by a wealthy American entrepreneur who invested in the complete renovation of the Chateau. The 10 hectare estate is situated on a silico-gravel soil with veins of clay. The 38 different plots of the vineyard are planted with 79% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec. Chateau l'Enclos wines express beautiful notes of black fruits, cherry, coffee and cocoa.
