Description
Penfolds Bin 128 is made from a single grape, the Shiraz, and soil: Coonawarra's terra rosa. The wine showcases the region's unique cool climate and the 12-month aging in French Oak barrels. The 2013 vintage reveals a dark and deep purple color. Bin 128 2013 carries a very expressive nose of floral and violets aromas, but also pepper, cedar, and wild red fruit. The palate offers fullness and refined tannins, as well as cocoa and Morello cherry.
