Pinot Blanc

Pinot Blanc is an appellation in the Alsace region, owing its name to the main grape used to produce wines. The vines are planted on over 3000 hectares and benefit from soils made of clay, limestone, sandstone and silt. They enjoy a semi-continental climate. The wines of the Pinot Blanc appellation present a pale yellow color. They develop on the nose a freshness with fragrances of fruits (peach, apple), along with more floral notes. On the palate, the Pinot Blanc offers a well-balanced acidity and reveals a tenderness combined with lightness.
