Casavyc estate was founded in 2003 by Viaviana and Claudio Filcamo, two great Tuscany wine enthusiasts. The couple fell in love with Camporomano -wild lands located on Mount Amiata mild slopes and overlooking Monte Argentario. Viviana and Claudio decided to challenge both the national and international markets with an ambitious wine making project. Today, the 57-hectar property comprises 11-hecatres planted with Syrah, Grenache, Sauvignon, Semillon, Pinot Noir, and Sangiovese (the couple follows local traditions to produce Morellino di Scansano wines). Weather conditions and exceptional nature of the soils allowed Casavyc to make a mark in the wine world. The property’s philosophy is to work with time and follow the rhythm of the seasons.
