The 2008 Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata/Torriglione impresses for its silky tannins and a very fine texture. The mid-palate is rich and a gorgeous sweetness matches its beautiful expressive bouquet. The style is slightly masculine, but very beautiful. The finish is huge. Roberto Voerzio presents a very classic aromatic Barolo with a serious structure. It is the sweetest and most seductive of the vintage. But drinkers need to be patient. It won't be an easy wine.
