Tempranillo

Tempranillo is a red wine grape grown in Spain and Portugal, brought there by the Phoenicians almost 3,000 years ago. The grapes produce a full-bodied, highly tannic red wine. The flavour profile of Tempranillo wine depends on how long it spends in oak - younger Crianza Tempranillo tasting of juicy red fruit and spice, older Reserva of red and black fruits, and Gran Reserva of dried red and black fruits with notes of leather.
