Au Pied du Mont Chauve : Chassagne-Montrachet 1er cru "Les Chenevottes" 2010

The Cuvée Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes 2010 from the estate Au Pied du Mont Chauve is made from five different plots - spread over various areas of the appellation- at the bottom of the hill so it is cool in the summer without having excess moisture. This wine is 100% Chardonnay and the vines are grown in a biodynamic way. The Cuvée Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes 2010 from the estate Au Pied du Mont Chauve is aged on lees in barrels for 14 months. This wine with a pale gold robe has an aromatic bouquet dominated by notes of citrus and flowers, with a nose of roasted almonds in the final. The palate is balanced. It is at once tense, buttery and fruity for a subtle and delicate result.
