Its very old vines of Pinot Noir (over 70 years) are traditionally grown with handpicking and respect the lunar calendar. The Cuvée Corton Grand Cru Clos des Fietres 2010 from the estate Au Pied du Mont Chauve is aged in barrels for 14 months, a feature that is noted on the nose during the tasting. The aromatic bouquet of this purple wine is dominated by fruity, spicy and woody notes. The palate is generous. A powerful and fine wine which appears to be a perfect balance with great aging potential.
