Description
A noble red wine from Margaux
Chateau Cantenac Brown is a Classified 3rd Growth from Margaux. Produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (68%) and Merlot (32%), the vintage required 49% of the harvest. Aged in barrels, of which 60% were new and 40% were one year old.
Chateau Cantenac Brown 2016 offers intrinsic qualities that are rarely observed, although this Margaux has been known to set the mark. The wine is noble and not excessive. The balance is magnificent, and the alcohol is very easily digestible. The wine is dynamic, with creamy tannins that are wrapped in fruit. Surely, a very great Margaux.
