Description
This 2006 confirms a very classic wine of good freshness with a solid and precise structure considering its good acidity. 2006 Chateau d'Armailhac exhibits a ruby-tinted deep red colour. On the nose, this Pauillac is powerful with a subtle mix of well-ripped red berries and a nice, perfectly blended woody note, carried by vanilla notes and lightly toasted bread. On the palate this 2006 5e cru classé Chateau d'Armailhac is carefully built. Its attack is frank and gives way to a good breadth. The wine evolves in finesse with a tasty sensation. The tannins, pleasant and silky, distinguish the flask. One can enjoy the return of the fruit, enhanced by delicate woody notes. This wine balance is worth the great vintages and encourages having other sips, with moderation.
