Description
The name of the Château de Tracy 2012 vintage “Haute Densité” comes from a plot where there is only Sauvignon Blanc planted. Traditionally, there is an average of 7000 planted vines per hectare in the Sancerre appellation. This one contains 17000 narrow-spaced vines creating fierce competition among the plants. The vines must grow deeper in the ground to sustain themselves; thus creating the perfect conditions for the strongest plants to strive. Haute Densité 2012 displays a gold-tinted bright pale yellow colour. Aeration brings out intense and complex aromas of pear, white peach, nectarine, citrus fruits or white pepper. To the palate, Haute Densité 2012 is clear, vivid with a long finish.
