Description
Château Rosé 2016 from château Sainte Marguerite : a very soft Côtes de Provence wine
The Château Rosé of Château Sainte-Marguerite is a cru classé of the Côtes de Provence appellation. The 36-hectare vineyard is planted on clay-siliceous soils with pebbles and broken quartz. The vineyards, planted with Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, enjoy a warm and dry Mediterranean climate. The wine is aged in tanks on fine lees and then filtered before bottling. This cuvée is a certified organic wine.
At tasting, the Château Rosé 2016 from Château Sainte Marguerite displays a light salmon colour, clear and brilliant. The nose becomes delicious with splendid fruity notes (red fruits, strawberries, raspberries). The Château Rosé 2016 is aromatic and fruity on the palate, showing a wonderful balance. Tasty touches of red fruits, blackcurrants and raspberries can be observed on this extremely soft palate.
