Description
The new cuvée Cap Nord from the Domaine Combier, in organic agriculture, was created both in Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage appellations, with the collaboration of the oenologist Veronica Ortega. This 2011 Saint-Joseph Cap Nord is a wine of great precision that reflects well the typicity of Syrah from Saint-Joseph appellation. This purple-tinted intense red wine gives off delicious aromas of red berries and mild spices. One discovers scrumptious notes of cherry, blackberry or even fresh herbs and black pepper. On the palate, the tannic structure of the 2011 Saint-Joseph Cap Nord is present but should blend in quickly. The finish is persistent and fruity. This is robust and straight wine.
