Domaine Comte Abbatucci : Diplomate d'Empire 2012

Diplomate - Il Cavaliere - Jacques-Pierre-Charles Abbatucci is a white Corsican wine produced out native grape varieties extremely cherished by the Abbatucci family. Bianco Gentile, Brustiano, Genovese, Rossola Bianca and Vermentino guarantee the style of this Cuvée collection, which is produced since the 2006 vintage. Of a pale and crystal-clear yellow, this Corsican white of the 2012 vintage is a sun-bathed Vin de France, rich in ripe yellow fruits. With a great amazement (in a good way), one can delight aromas of exotic fruits that once again evoke its origins: scents of the Corsican scrub. On the palate this wine is long, with an uncompromised balance, echoing the rich fruitiness that could be found, as if one crunches in grapes, the whole on a long finale, wide and beautifully fresh. A beautiful vintage, a very serious white which we can enjoy up to 1,500 bottles. A wine for connoisseur.
