Domaine de la Garenne : Pouilly-Fuissé Village 2016

A Pouilly-Fuisse with balanced flavours and rich aromas

Located in the Maconnais region, in Southern Bourgogne, Domaine de la Garenne of Domaines Devillard produces high-quality Pouilly-Fuisse, Macon-Bussieres and Macon-Aze. The Pouilly-Fuisse is made from two small plots of land (La Ruere is located under the famous rock of Solutre & Le Moule is near Pouilly in an area that might be classified as Premier Cru). 

The Pouilly-Fuisse 2016 from Domaine de la Garenne has a beautiful yellow colour with golden highlights. The nose is subtle and elegant. Upon aeration, light notes of hazelnuts, fresh almonds and dried fruit can be found. The notes are not very pronounced due to its timid character at this stage. The palate is a seductive balance between fat and acidity. A remarkably complex Pouilly-Fuisse.
