The estate
Located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, in Meursault, Domaine du Château de Meursault is one of Burgundy's most iconic estates. Boasting a century-old history, Château de Meursault is a true gem among the finest Meursault wines, currently owned by the Halley family.
The vineyard
The 1er cru "Champ Canet" 2021 of Domaine du Château de Meursault is a Puligny-Montrachet wine that stems from a 58-acre vineyard located on the top of the hill. The east-facing vines are planted on particularly stony clay-limestone soil.
Vinification and ageing
Following the harvest, the grapes are sorted by hand, followed by pressing and settling. Alcoholic fermentation for 15 days in barrels. Aged for 15 to 18 months.
