The 2008 Rotenberg from Domaine Marcel Deiss is a true Alsace terroir wine and is produced from a field blend of Riesling and Pinot Gris. The vineyard is farmed on the first calcareous flagstone from mid-Jurassic with a nice East orientation and a sunny climate. The 2008 Alsace Rotenberg from Domaine Marcel Deiss is characterised by an outstanding balance. The wine reveals great aromatic complexity with a nose dominated by tangerine and lemon notes. Great freshness and crispy fruit can be felt. This fresh and airy wine seduces by its lemony, acid, very aromatic structure. This 2008 is to be tasted quite young.
