The first trace of Echezeaux dates back to the end of the 13th century. This Cote de Nuits Grand Cru is famous for the high quality of its terroirs and wines. The 2013 Echezeaux Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley is only composed of Pinot Noir. 
The wine displays a limpid and dark ruby red colour. The complex and very pleasant nose offers a large aromatic palette of fruity and empyreumatic notes. On the palate, the wine is round and fruity. The 2014 Echezeaux Grand Cru offers blended and silky tannins that confer it a good aromatic persistence on finish. This Grand Cru carries a balanced and full-bodied structure that foreshadows a great ageing potential. The wine can be tasted between 2021 and 2025.
