Famille Perrin : Les Cornuds 2011

Famille Perrin owns about sixty hectares in Vinsobres, in the North of the South Rhone Valley appellation. It is 300 meters high, planted with Grenache and Syrah. The 2011 Cornuds is a magnificent wine that perfectly expresses the typicity of its terroir. It displays a purple-tinted red colour, with purple glints. On the nose, this Vinsobres expresses aromas of violet, black fruit and spices such as pepper, with a hint of liquorice. The palate is round and broad with fine tannins and great freshness on finish.
