The 2009 Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Vieilles Vignes was produced by Jean Chartron who is one of the masters of Puligny-Montrachet as well as of Chassagne-Montrachet. This balanced wine is a success despite the high temperatures of the vintage. This 2009 Puligny-Montrachet displays a beautiful golden yellow colour. The nose is strong, clear and gives off floral and mineral fragrances. The palate of this Burgundy wine possesses a great salty character and balance obtained thanks to a skilfully led harvest. This noble wine is distinguished.
