2008 Haut-Medoc Chateau de Camensac Second Wine
La Closerie de Camensac is Chateau de Camensac Second Wine mainly produced from young vines growing on the same parcels selected for the production of superior wines. The 2008 La Closerie de Camensac is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The vintage displays a deep red colour. The nose exudes pleasant black fruits, cherry, blackberry, and some hints of blended wood. The attack is supple, very ripe yet firm tannins coat the mid-palate with some density. The 2008 La Closerie de Camensac offers well-controlled balance and harmony. The finish is very flavourful and remarkably long, with very persistent fruit.
