Wine Advocate-Parker : Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2014 tasting, Latour's 2014 Corton Clos de la Vigne Au Saint has a pretty nose, quite floral in style with rose petal and potpourri scents filtering through the ample red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red cherry and strawberry scents, a touch of curry powder and a touch of bitterness on the finish. It starts well but runs out of ideas in the last third. It showed a little better than last year...but it is still not up to the standard required for a grand cru. Tasted September 2017.
