The Miraval rosé is produced in the appellation of Côtes de Provence. The grapes undergo a very thorough selection process, and are harvested from the best vineyards of the estate (Muriers, Longue, Romarin and vineyards of Correns), located on the most famous terroirs of the Provence wine region.
The vines of Château Miraval benefit from excellent sun exposure, as they are planted on terraces at an average altitude of 350 metres. The vines stretch their roots deep into clay-limestone soils. The climatic conditions here are characterised by great variations in temperature between day and night, which allows the fruit to reach ideal maturity and an aromatic equilibrium that is then perfectly transcribed in the wines.
The Miraval Rose 2018 comes from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah et Rolle (Vermentino), an authentic representation of the local terroir. In the glass, the Miraval rose 2018 shows off a beautiful light pink colour. On the nose, this Provence rosé a faithful representation of the estate’s signature style: a beautiful mix of fresh fruit and floral fragrances. On the palate, the wine offers a balanced, complex and mineral mouthfeel, along with a persisitent finish. A Provence rosé that transmits sunshine in every sip, Miraval 2018 is the definition of elegance.
