2007 Barolo, pure Nebbiolo from Piedmont

The 2007 Barolo Big 'd Big of Rocche dei Manzoni is a pure Nebbiolo. It was aged for 36 to 48 months in wooden barrels, and then 12 months in bottles before being put on sale. This ruby-tinted intense and shiny red coloured 2007 Big 'd Big is characterized by a rich, delicate and very elegant nose reminding one of violet, cherry, or even spices. On the palate, it is supple but distinguished with very velvety tannins and a strong finish.
