Description
The elegance and aromatic palette of a Mediterranean IGP rosé wine
The estate
Founded in 1489, Château d'Estoublon belonged to the Lords of Baux for many years. Acquired in 1999 by Ernest Schneider, the estate has been managed by the Courbit, Prats (former owners of Château Cos d'Estournel) and Bruni-Sarkozy families since 2019.
The vineyard
Château d'Estoublon overlooks 300 hectares of land, including 17 hectares of vines and 120 hectares of olive groves. The vineyard is cultivated in a sustainable manner and according to organic farming practices and is planted on deep soils composed of clay and limestone.
The wine
Roseblood d'Estoublon 2021 by Château d'Estoublon is a IGP Mediterranean wine.
The vintage
The episodes of frost recorded during the spring of 2021 had little impact on the estate's vineyards. During the month of May, the heavy rainfall caused a high disease pressure, which was then offset by a milder climate and thus favoured an even flowering period. The pleasant weather conditions during summer ensured an optimal development of the vines while preserving the freshness of the fruit. This vintage gives rise to fresh, expressive and elegant wines.
