2014 Saint-Julien, Second vin du Chateau Gruaud Larose, from Bordeaux.
Sarget de Graud Larose is a Second vin du Chateau Gruaud Larose, from the young vines of the estate (25 years old on average). This 2014 Saint-Julien is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.
The 2014 Sarget Gruaud Larose displays a beautiful bright red colour with intense purple highlights. The nose is fresh and spicy with nutmeg notes. Woody aromas also blend with the fruit. This Saint-Julien soft palate offers marked quality tannins. This 2014 Sarget Gruaud Larose has a good ageing potential.
