From a prestigious clos of almost 50 hectares, the Clos Vougeot soils have different characteristics whether one is on the north or south of the appellation. The 2007 Clos Vougeot from Bouchard Pere & Fils is only composed of Pinot Noir. 
The wine reveals a purple-tinted dark garnet colour. The nose gives off a great aromatic complexity which associates red and black berries, followed by grilled and mocha notes. The palate is rich, strong and distinguished. The 2007 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru carries a great length which makes it a fine wine.
