Pauillac is home to three of the First Classified Growths (Mouton-Rothschild, Lafite-Rothschild, Latour) and many other classified growths whose reputation is well established in France and the world. With exceptional soils, the Pauillac appellation is located next to the river and its tides. The wines from Pauillac, surely the most prestigious of the Médoc, express the complex marriage between the delicacy of Merlot and the power of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are ruby in colour that show amber reflections over time. The nose has an aromatic bouquet and the palate has elegant and velvety tannins.
