Krug Rosé 29th Edition blends 29 wines from five years, from the 2010 to the 2017 vintage, with a composition of 53% pinot noir, 28% chardonnay and 19% pinot meunier, including 11% pinot noir red macerated on skins for structure and spice. Aged about seven years in the cellar, this champagne presents a subtle salmon hue with copper highlights and a rich nose of red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry and ripe cherry, complemented by delicate toasted notes. On the palate, it evokes raspberry charlotte with flavors of prune and a touch of blood orange, finishing with a hint of pink grapefruit bitterness.
