2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (Chardonnay)

Domaine Hubert Lamy’s 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles is 100% Chardonnay produced in an exceptional climat (Burgundy vineyard with unique soil composition and climate). The vines grow on limestone-clay soil, located halfway-up the hill, and facing east.  This Burgundy white reveals a really pale hue and lovely, intense aromas of delicate fresh fruits, spiced with vanilla, and toasted notes. The round, powerful, and rich palate leads to a fresh finish.
