Paul Jaboulet-Aîné : Domaine de Roure 2012

In 1996, Domaine Paul Jaboulet-Aîné purchased Domaine Raymond Roure on the municipality of Gervans in the North of Tain l'Hermitage, Rhone Valley. This 2012 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine de Roure is a single-grape wine: 100% Syrah. It exhibits a very deep red colour. It offers a complex nose, composed of black olive and star aniseed. On the palate, this vintage possesses a juicy and fleshy attack. Notes of raspberry and black cherry meet and develop depth and concentration. A great tannic elegance matches with a good mineral precison.
