Covering less than 2 hectares, the Romanée-Conti appellation is only located in the commune of Vosne-Romanée. The vines are planted on brown limestone soils with a high proportion of clay. The Romanée-Conti appellation produces only red Pinot Noir wines. They have a bright dark ruby colour with carmine highlights as they age. The nose develops ample aromas of fruit (red and black), with floral, spicy and vegetal notes. They are powerful, delicate and sensual on the palate.
