Grattamacco

Grattamacco was built in 1977, on a cliff top overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri (a historic winemaking area in Tuscany). The 30-hectare farm is located on a hillside and includes a vineyard of approximately 14 hectares. The producer uses organic agriculture to grow vines: natural fertilizers without herbicide or insecticide. During maturation, the use of pumps is kept to a minimum to respect the grapes integrity. As a result, Grattamacco Bolgheri Rosso Superiore signature style lies in the power and complexity of their wines.
